Speciality coffee roaster, 200 Degrees, has announced that it will be opening a brand-new coffee shop this December, located at Junction 32 Shopping Outlet, Castleford, West Yorkshire.

The Castleford launch will mark 200 Degrees’ 22nd site across the UK & its 6th in Yorkshire, since opening its first location in Nottingham in 2012. The new store will boast a spacious 1250 sq ft layout, with approximately 80 covers including indoor & outdoor seating options. It will be equipped with Eversys E4 Extra Wide coffee machines, designed to produce up to 350 espressos per hour, ensuring guests won’t have to wait long for their favourite brew.

Renowned for its distinctive venues and passion for all things coffee; the brand is dedicated to serving up a better cup of coffee, sourcing the finest beans from sustainable coffee producers across the world. The beans are meticulously roasted at their Nottingham roastery, imparting the signature full-bodied, smooth taste.

Customers visiting the new site can enjoy 200 Degrees’ delicious offerings, where they can choose from an impressive selection of beverages made with its signature house blend, Brazilian Love Affair, from a deliciously simple americano, to a perfectly balanced flat white or a decadent Spanish latte. Customers can also choose from seasonal specials like the gingerbread latte or mint mocha. For those who don’t fancy caffeine, there is also a range of indulgent hot chocolate, plus a wide range of herbal teas and fruit smoothies.

The food menu features a delightful array of handmade sandwiches including brie & chorizo, and pulled pork and a new special for the festive season, the Christmas Beast, each crafted with high-quality, fresh ingredients. There’s also a range of buttery sausage rolls; including a vegan version and a spinach & feta option.

For those with a sweet tooth, the menu hosts an assortment of fresh pastries, including golden croissants and flaky pain au chocolat. In addition, there is an unmatched selection of treats such as warm cinnamon buns, hearty fruity flapjacks, the classic Victoria sponge cake and a rich espresso caramel brownie.

All of this can be enjoyed in 200 Degrees’ signature cosy environment, thoughtfully designed to provide a welcoming space where guests can relax, savour every sip, and unwind after a day of Christmas shopping. Whether customers are looking for a quick caffeine fix or a leisurely lunch, 200 Degrees is the new hot spot in Yorkshire.

Commenting on the new opening, Will Kenney, Commercial Director of 200 Degrees said: “We’ve seen from the popularity of our other coffee shops in the area that the good people of Yorkshire love 200 Degrees Coffee. We’re excited about joining the existing businesses in the shopping outlet and the exciting brands which are also opening there in the coming months.”

Darren Winter, Centre Director at Junction 32, said: “We are thrilled to welcome 200 Degrees to Junction 32. With its delicious sweet treats and stunning beverage selection, we have no doubt it will become a firm favourite with our visitors and will make for the perfect place to stop off at whilst they enjoy a shopping trip.”

The new 200 Degrees Castleford will create up to 15 jobs in the local area including manager and barista positions. All current vacancies can be found and applied for at careers.200degs.com.
