BootsWith Christmas just around the corner and many people still to finish their shopping, Boots is offering customers the opportunity to have gifts delivered direct to their door in as little as 30 minutes, making last-minute Christmas shopping easier than ever.
Following a surge of on-demand orders from thousands of customers on Christmas Eve last year – and research showing that more than one in two people (56%) leave their Christmas shopping to the very last day, the retailer is primed for another busy Christmas Eve with delivery partners Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat.
Boots on-demand deliveries are now available from 500 stores across the UK. Plus, in select locations across the country, those very last-minute customers can order up until midnight on Christmas Eve and will still receive their shopping in time for the big day.
New research commissioned by Boots of over 2,000 UK shoppers revealed that many find the juggle to stay on top of their Christmas shopping lists a challenge, with 31% of working people saying they lack time to shop, while 23% state that working hours get in their way. However, shoppers are increasingly resourceful with one third (33%) reporting they order gifts while commuting or at work, almost half (49%) shop from the comfort of bed, while one in ten men (10%) state that they do their Christmas shopping from the pub!
2Last minute shoppers can choose from over 10,000 products through Boots on-demand, with over 1,600 Christmas gifts available, including customer-favourites such as No7 Ultimate Collection, Kayali Perfumes and Gucci Bamboo fragrance. There are also over 700 gifts available at £10 and under, perfect for Secret Santa or stocking fillers.
Paula Bobbett, chief data and digital officer at Boots, said: “We all know Christmas is a busy time, so we want to make it even easier for our customers who find themselves shopping right up to the last moment. Boots on-demand can help change that final dash into an easy delivery.  At Boots, we’re here to make shopping feel joyful, not stressful, helping shoppers find thoughtful gifts quickly and easily, even if they’ve missed online order cut-offs or store opening hours.”
With on-demand delivery via Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat, plus next-day Click & Collect and dedicated Christmas shops in 1,300 stores, Boots is making festive shopping simple, convenient and joyful for everyone this year. Customers can order up until Monday 22 December for Click & Collect into store, and 23 December for next day home delivery. On-demand delivery is available right up until Christmas Eve.
