With more than 31 million TikTok posts, it’s safe to say the food waste app, Too Good To Go, is going viral. Users of the app are taking to TikTok to share what they find in their surprise bags and are ultimately highlighting the importance of reducing food waste.
The 29th April 2026 marks Stop Food Waste Day, and ahead of this, food waste disposer brand InSinkErator has analysed TikTok data to uncover the brands on Too Good To Go Brits must try.

Greggs comes in at number one
According to the data, Greggs is the clear leader. Singular videos of Greggs Too Good To Go bag unboxings have received over 468,000 likes and 5.9 million views.
These viral videos frequently include large quantities of fan-favourite foods, such as 8 sausage rolls and a variety of doughnuts for just £2.99.
Coffee chains are a fan favourite
Coffee chains are a fan favourite, with Starbucks ranking second with 154,000 likes on a single video and Blank Street ranking third with 120,900 likes.
Their appeal lies with high value, as some bags reportedly contain items worth up to £38.80 for as little as £3.50.
Supermarkets & department stores make the top ten
Luxury and premium stores are popular choices, with both M&S and Harrods being in the top ten.
Harrods stands out for providing upscale meals at a fraction of the price. Items in the Harrods bags can include Cajun grilled chicken, crab cakes, cottage pie, and salad. A £12 bag can occasionally retail for around £38, so it is great value for money.
