Mappin & WebbAfter more than 20 years, Mappin & Webb returns to the city with the opening of its new Birmingham showroom, located beneath the historic Burlington Hotel on New Street. Just moments from the city’s renowned Jewellery Quarter, the showroom celebrates the deep connection between the brands’ craftsmanship and Birmingham’s long-standing reputation for creativity and design excellence.

Following a seven-month refurbishment, the new 260 sq.mt. showroom has been meticulously designed to offer a world-class collection of luxury watch and jewellery brands within a refined and immersive environment. Key interior features include a dedicated hospitality bar, private consultation areas and statement chandelier and architectural detailing which pay homage to the building’s historic character.

In a first for the city, the introduction of an external Rolex clock reinforces the century-long partnership between the two iconic brands. A dedicated Rolex area is located at the heart of the showroom – a space designed to immerse clients in the world of Swiss watchmaking excellence. Here, visitors can explore the full breadth of Rolex’s legendary collections – reflecting the brands uncompromising standards of precision, durability and design innovation.

We are also proud to house a carefully curated selection of Rolex Certified Pre-owned watches within this showroom. Each pre-owned timepiece undergoes rigorous authentication and meticulous servicing by the brand and is accompanied by a two-year international guarantee, providing complete assurance and peace-of-mind to discerning clients.

Additionally, the showroom features luxury timepieces from brands including IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, TAG Heuer, and Tudor; revered brands which individually share unique heritage and craftsmanship.

The jewellery offering includes an exquisite selection of world-renowned names such as one of America’s most innovative fine jewellery designers David Yurman which is exclusive to the Watches of Switzerland Group.  Venetian jeweller Roberto Coin is also present alongside Mappin & Webb’s own cherished fine jewellery collections. The new Mappin & Webb jewellery gallery showcases the brand’s signature collections, reflecting 250 years of heritage, craftsmanship and contemporary design.

Craig Bolton, President of UK & Europe, the Watches of Switzerland Group, commented:

“We are incredibly proud to bring Mappin & Webb back to Birmingham – a city whose spirit and creativity mirrors our own. Just steps from the historic Jewellery Quarter, this opening feels like a true homecoming from a brand built on artistry, excellence and innovation. Birmingham has always been a city that celebrates making things beautifully, and we’re honoured to add to that legacy.”

Joining other new concept Mappin & Webb locations in York, Bluewater, Glasgow and Manchester, the Birmingham showroom reinforces the Watches of Switzerland Group’s strategic vision to strengthen its city presence whilst balancing heritage with innovation. The return to Birmingham also reflects the Watches of Switzerland Group’s renewed commitment to the local community through local partnerships, charitable initiatives and educational engagement.
