Two Farmers is expanding its premium hand-cooked crisp range with the launch of its new flavour – Herefordshire Sauce, a bold addition rooted firmly in local provenance. The new flavour combines the rich, tangy character of Herefordshire Sauce with Two Farmers’ signature crisps, made using potatoes grown on their own farms. Delivering a distinct savoury tang, the result is an umami-rich, piquant crisp that offers a true taste of the region and is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
The inspiration came when founders Mark Green and Sean Mason met “Corporal Nick”, a former serviceman producing small batches of Herefordshire Sauce from a long-guarded family recipe. Having travelled the world before returning home to Herefordshire, the recipe is now shared with Two Farmers, bringing this unique local flavour to a wider audience.
Sean Mason, co-founder at Two Farmers, comments: “This flavour is a real celebration of Herefordshire. When we discovered Nick’s sauce – both the taste and the story – it felt like the perfect fit for the brand. It’s been a while since we introduced a new flavour, so we wanted to make sure it was the right one. We’re delighted to have found it, and we hope our customers enjoy it as much as we do.”
As a brand built on provenance, sustainability and premium taste, this latest launch continues Two Farmers’ commitment to championing local ingredients while delivering distinctive, category-leading flavours. Two Farmers’ strong performance across farm shops, delis, independent retail and hospitality positions, with new flavours helping to drive excitement and repeat purchase.
