Once again, the UK’s favourite canned peas brand, Batchelors Peas, has partnered with the Rugby League, becoming the Official Partner of the Betfred Super League and Official Partner of the Challenge Cup for the eighth consecutive season and Official Partner of the England Rugby League team for the sixth year.

Batchelors Peas today has announced its rugby partnerships again following a fruitful relationship over the years. The partnership will see Batchelors Peas continuing to drive category awareness through media relations activity including press competitions in key media titles and digital and social support in addition to money-can’t-buy prize draws

Betfred Super League fans will continue to notice the Batchelors Peas brand featured on all Betfred Super League matchday programmes, on pitch perimeter boards and on all official competition backdrops at more than 180 games.

Jeremy Gibson, Brand Marketing Director at Princes: “We arrive again at the start of another exciting Rugby League season and Batchelors Peas is pleased to extend its partnerships for 2023. We’re a brand which promotes families and friends spending time together through food and sport and we’re looking forward to engaging again with fans up and down the country at match day events and with competitions throughout the season. We’re keen to continue to encourage friends and families dining together with cost saving fish and chip fakeaways, not complete without a can of Batchelors Peas.”

The campaign continues to increase the usage and drive purchase of mushy and marrowfat peas amongst existing and new consumers, through the promotion of the products as the ideal accompaniment for fish and chips and other family favourite meals.

The 2023 kicked off with a match between Warrington Wolves and Leeds Rhinos last week and is now in full swing for the rest of the season.

Batchelors Peas are the perfect accompaniment to match day fish and chips – even counting towards one of your five a day! Batchelors produces top quality Mushy Peas, available on the canned vegetables aisle of all major supermarkets.
