Black Sheep CoffeeBlack Sheep Coffee (https://blacksheepcoffee.co.uk/) is set to open a new store at The Gyle Shopping Centre in Edinburgh on Thursday 5th November, bringing its signature coffee offering to the west of the city.

Located at the entrance to the shopping centre, the 2,500sq ft store will offer 66 indoor seats and 24 outdoor seats, providing space for shoppers, office workers and local residents to enjoy a coffee throughout the day. The street-facing location sits opposite Edinburgh Park, a major business district, with tram stops nearby and free parking available close to the centre.

With a spacious layout and convenient transport links, the new store is well placed to serve customers visiting The Gyle, commuting through the area or working nearby. Its location also puts it within easy reach of the surrounding residential neighbourhoods.

Franchise partner, Usman Riaz, commented: “We’re looking forward to opening at The Gyle and welcoming customers to the new store. Its location makes it a great spot for people shopping, working nearby or travelling through the area, and we’re excited to get the doors open in November.”

To celebrate the opening, customers visiting Black Sheep Coffee at The Gyle on Thursday 5th November will be able to enjoy £1 coffees, alongside free Black Sheep Coffee branded tote bags.

The opening marks the fourth store operated by Riaz, a Scottish-born franchise partner. The new site will also create employment opportunities in the area, with Black Sheep Coffee stores typically employing between 10 and 12 people per store.

Black Sheep Coffee was founded in 2013 by co-founders Eirik and Gabriel, who met in Scotland before setting out to challenge the status quo in the coffee industry. The brand has since grown across the UK, with its distinctive approach to coffee continuing to encourage customers to leave the herd behind.

The new site will open on Thursday 5th November 2026 at Units 25–26, The Gyle Shopping Centre, Edinburgh, EH12 9JX. Opening hours will be 6:30am–8pm Monday–Friday, 7am–7pm Saturday and 7:30am–7pm Sunday.
