Fini expands Hero Tubes range with two new flavours

FiniLeading confectionery brand Fini has expanded its hero Tubes range with the launch of two new SKUs – Fini Cotton Candy Tubes and Fini Sour Blue Raspberry Tubes – tapping into shoppers’ appetite for familiar confectionery flavours reimagined with bold and playful twists.

Fini Cotton Candy Tubes offer a playful take on the classic fairground flavour, while Sour Blue Raspberry Tubes pair a bold fruity taste with the sensory appeal of sour confectionery. Both products embody Fini’s vision to “invent joy”, bringing together bold flavours, vibrant colours and distinctive textures that command attention on shelf and bring greater variety to the sugar confectionery fixture.

The expansion comes as familiar confectionery continues to resonate with shoppers, with more than one in four consumers citing nostalgia or comfort as a main purchase driver when selecting traditional sweets.

Sour profiles also remain particularly relevant as shoppers seek out more intense taste experiences, with bold, invigorating flavours creating a strong emotional response while tapping into familiar nostalgic cues.

Available in 140g price-marked packs with an RSP of £1.25, the launches provide shoppers with a clear value cue. The packs are also available in clip strips, offering forecourt retailers a flexible merchandising solution that can be positioned in high-footfall areas to help drive impulse purchases.

The launch comes as Fini continues to build strong momentum in the UK confectionery market. Circana data shows that Fini is now one of the fastest-growing sugar confectionery brands across the total UK market over the latest 52-week period, with the brand also delivering 30 per cent growth in the latest quarter.

The additions build on the strong performance of Fini’s Tubes portfolio, which uses flavour, texture and playful product design to create a more engaging confectionery experience. With the range rotating up to twice as fast as competitors in some channels, the launches demonstrate how reimagining familiar confectionery cues can generate shopper excitement while delivering a strong rate of sale for retailers.

Commenting on the launch, Steven Greaves, managing director UK and Ireland at Fini, said: “Cotton Candy and Sour Blue Raspberry Tubes respond to two distinct confectionery trends, combining nostalgic flavour cues and more intense taste experiences with the playful designs and visual appeal for which Fini is known.

“For retailers, the launches pair creativity with clear commercial potential, delivering strong shelf standout and a £1.25 value cue. With our Tubes range already rotating up to twice as fast as competitors in some channelsii, they offer retailers a compelling way to bring excitement to the fixture while driving impulse sales.”

Fini Cotton Candy Tubes are currently included on promotions throughout September and October in selected Spar stores.

Fini Sour Blue Raspberry Tubes are available exclusively through Unitas Wholesale members. The product will become more widely available from September in selected Spar stores as well as via Sugro members.

Both products are available in 140g price-marked packs with an RSP of £1.25.
