Go Zero Charge becomes Costco’s exclusive UK EV charger partner

The team behind smart electric vehicle (EV) home charger Optimus, www.GoZeroCharge.com, is proud to announce it is now the exclusive UK EV charger partner of Costco, one of the biggest brands in the world.Costco members can now purchase the fast 7.4 kW EV charger online and receive £125 off, with standard home installation included in the discounted price. The Optimus will come tethered with a five-metre cable – making the exclusive offer both incredibly affordable, appealing and easy.

Peter O’Brien, chief marketing officer at www.GoZeroCharge.com, commented: “Our partnership with Costco is a significant milestone for Go Zero Charge. Costco has chosen us based on the quality and functionality of our product and who we are as a company, and that’s a testament to our team’s commitment and hard work. We’re proud to announce that our EV charger will be the only EV charger being sold at Costco. This not only validates our team’s efforts, but also reaffirms our dedication to designing and crafting high-quality charging solutions.

“With the looming ban on production of new diesel and petrol cars in the UK in 2030, people are still concerned and confused on what to buy and who to trust. With Costco selecting us, we feel this will guide people to us and our goal is to help as many people and families as possible make the transition to EVs.

“EV charging should be a stress-free process, which our fantastic chargers and nationwide installation teams help provide. We’re honoured that Costco feels the same way as the country moves towards EVs.”

The Optimus comes with cutting-edge software that enables unparalleled reliability. One of the charger’s unique features, for example, is a built-in health check system that monitors every Optimus every 60 seconds. For EV owners, their equivalent of a petrol station is the side of their house – so reliability is key, and the Optimus’ 60-second ‘heartbeat’ sensor is making it a leader in home EV chargers.

Additionally, the Go Zero Charge app adds to the user’s experience of convenience, allowing users to schedule charges based on cheaper, off-peak tariffs to save significantly on electricity bills and choose whether they would like to rent out their home charger (when they are at work or on holiday, for example) and earn a supplemental income based on a profit per kilowatt hours used. The Optimus provides complete control and security, making it the smart choice for any EV owner seeking reliability, savings and convenience.
