L.A BrewerySuffolk-based brand, L.A Brewery (www.labrewery.co.uk) has partnered with healthy, Asian-inspired healthy restaurant itsu, to offer customers two brand new craft drinks: Lemon, Yuzu & Ginger Kombucha and Passionfruit Kombucha. The new products are priced at £2.79 per bottle and launched in to all itsu stores on 17th February 2023.

L.A Brewery Lemon, Yuzu & Ginger Kombucha contains 60kcal per 330ml bottle and is a non-alcoholic fermented, sparkling tea drink offering notes of light green tea, alongside infusions of fragrant zesty lemon, yuzu and zingy ginger with a touch of chilli flavouring for an uplifting tangy fizz, whilst the Passionfruit Kombucha contains 56kcal per 330ml bottle and is infused with a tart, natural passionfruit extract for a refreshing fruity fizz.

The B-Corp accredited L.A Brewery brew drinks using a natural fermentation process with innovative blends of tea, plants and botanicals. Sustainably brewed and bottled using 100% recyclable materials in the Suffolk countryside, it’s also vegan, has live gut-friendly cultures and is made using natural ingredients, meaning no additives or preservatives.

Louise Avery, founder of L.A Brewery says: “We have wanted to work with itsu for a very long time, so it’s an honour to collaborate with them on two new drinks.  The Ginger and Passionfruit flavours are light, crisp and fresh and pair well with the itsu menu so we are excited to hear what their customers think”.

L.A Brewery and itsu have chosen these drinks to cater to consumers’ rising needs for a healthy, functional beverage that also tastes delicious, and the launch comes amidst a recent prediction that the market for kombucha in the United Kingdom will rise by 20.64% between 2019 and 2027.[1]

Ollie Payne, head of marketing at itsu says: “We are delighted to be working with L.A Brewery to stock two brand new Kombucha drinks in all of our shops – a lot of time and effort has gone into creating them from the bottle designs to the tastes and we think they are going to be hugely popular with our customers, both old and new”.

In addition to itsu, L.A Brewery can also be found across a range of leading hospitality partners including Hawskmoor, Dishoom and Coppa Club. It is also available to order direct from the brewery via the website, www.labrewery.co.uk and can be purchased in retailers such as Planet Organic, Wholefoods, Amazon, Ocado, The Wine Society and Selfridges. Prices start at £2.69 per bottle.
