M&S M&S has revealed Thursday 13th November as the opening date for its brand-new flagship store at Cabot Circus in Bristol city centre.

The 80,000 sq ft full-line store will offer the very best of M&S Food, Fashion, Home & Beauty across three floors.

Customers can look forward to a 17,000 sq ft fresh market-style foodhall, with in-store bakery, fresh market specials from M&S Select Farms (over 1,200 are based in the South West) and wide range of M&S sandwiches, salads and wraps – perfect for the lunchtime rush.

A 200-seater M&S Coffee Shop will deliver speedy service and a delicious range of freshly cooked breakfast rolls, toasties, wraps and sandwiches, alongside barista-made coffee, using M&S’ iconic Roast & Ritual fairtrade house blend, and iced drinks.

In Fashion, customers will find one of M&S’ biggest beauty sections across the UK, with a wide selection of much-loved M&S ranges and third-party brands, including Clinique and Estée Lauder.

Meanwhile customers can browse the latest Autumn/Winter Autograph collections, alongside a stylish Kidswear collection with unbeatable M&S quality

M&S’ Bristol Cabot Circus is one of sixteen M&S stores opening across the UK this financial year, including Bath Southgate, as part of a £300m investment.

The opening at Cabot Circus is expected to create over 100 new local jobs, with recruitment launched last month and vacancies still available via M&S Careers across the Coffee Shop, visual merchandising, customer service and warehouse operations.

Ali Ivery, regional manager at M&S, said: “We’re so excited to say: “Bristol, we are back”. Our Cabot Circus flagship will be one of the most modern stores in the UK, showcasing the very best of M&S Food, Fashion, Home & Beauty for customers. We can promise state of the art features, innovative products and of course, more of that M&S magic – just in time for the festive season. Since we announced our return to Bristol last summer, the excitement has been growing and we cannot wait to open the doors. There’s still time to join the team, so visit M&S Careers, follow our store Facebook page for the latest updates and we look forward to seeing you on the 13th November.”

Cabot Circus is owned and managed by Hammerson. Toby Tait, director asset management, at Hammerson, added: “We are thrilled the date is now set for M&S to launch its latest full-line offer in the heart of Bristol at Cabot Circus. We know there’s sky-high customer demand for M&S and we’re expecting a bumper festive period. M&S joins a range of new openings which are boosting our line-up of retail brands at a time of major investment throughout Cabot Circus. We’re also welcoming a brand-new cinema next year as part of our curated mix of leisure, eating and drinking experiences. It all supports Hammerson’s vision to manage and invest in a buzzing, multi-use destination at the centre of the community.”

M&S opened its first stall in Bristol back in 1900 before moving to several locations across the city including Castle Street, East Street and Broadmead. Customers can follow the latest Cabot Circus updates by following the store’s Facebook page here.
