Online healthy food retailer MuscleFood.com has teamed up with Heron Foods to introduce a new protein-packed range to their stores across the UK.

The partnership will allow customers at the discount store to indulge in some of MuscleFood’s most popular high-protein products.

This comes as part of a wider effort by MuscleFood to offer customers value and accessibility without sacrificing on the quality of products.

A range of MuscleFood products will land in 324 Heron Food stores across the country on the 20th July.

Among the range are protein pizzas, high protein prepped pots, protein pancakes and a range of cookies and protein bars.

Later in the summer, members from the MuscleFood team will be setting up activation sessions at four select stores to hand out tasty samples and talk to customers.

The partnership will bring the products, which normally retail exclusively online, to a whole new audience of in-person shoppers.

Nick Preston, CEO of MuscleFood, said: “We are really excited to share our partnership with Heron Foods and can’t wait to see our products in store.

“The aim is to reach a whole new audience with some of our most popular products. Putting these tasty products in stores across the country will help those looking to save some cash in the cost of living crisis, without compromising on their protein intake or taste.

“Feeding families well on a budget is an essential part of our company. We are looking forward to being more accessible and recognisable, to not only online shoppers but also those who like to shop in stores.

“Our pizza’s are a popular product with our online customers. They’re high protein, low in calories and we’ve sold no end since they first launched eight years ago – they’re a good way to have a treat without piling on the pounds.

“The pots are one of the newest additions to our range – they’re low calorie so perfect if you want to shed a few pounds, and because they’re high protein, will leave you feeling fuller for longer. They’re an easy lunch which is ready in minutes, so great for anyone on the go or at work.

“Filling families’ freezers for less has been an aim of ours for some time, and this partnership is an extension of that. Whether customers want some protein fuelled breakfast pancakes, a pre-made nutritious prepped pot lunch, a protein pizza for dinner, or a delicious cookie snack, we have got them covered.”

Tony Dobbs, managing director of Heron Foods, said: “We’re delighted that Heron Foods is offering something new and exciting for our customers, and we’re incredibly excited about this new partnership with Muscle Foods. The synergy between the two brands is a perfect pairing and in-keeping with the ethos of both brands. Together, we’re ensuring our customers get great quality, convenient and nutritionally balanced food for a fantastic price.”
