Oatly announces the launch of two new ready to drink iced coffees

OatlyOatly, the world’s original and largest oat drink company, has today announced the launch of a new range of ready-to-drink oat-based iced coffees to enjoy on the go.

Blending top-quality coffee with Oatly’s signature creamy oat base, the lineup features two variants: Oatly Barista Iced Flat White and Oatly Barista Iced Caramel Macchiato.

The Iced Macchiato combines smooth Arabica coffee, Oatly’s Barista oat drink and a touch of caramel for a rounded, indulgent flavour.

The ready-to-go Iced Flat White delivers a bigger coffee hit for that strong, unmistakable flat white taste.

Both products can be stored at room temperature before opening, but it’s recommended to serve them chilled or over ice for the best possible taste experience. Shoppers can find the ready-to-drink cans in the ‘Iced Coffee’ aisle in over 400 Tesco stores.

Bryan Carroll, general manager, Oatly UK and Ireland, said: “This ambient ready-to-drink format has been developed with the growing grab-and-go audience in mind. We are seeing a real shift in how shoppers consume coffee, with Gen Z in particular driving the surge in cold formats – a trend that continues to remain a cultural movement as we head into the New Year. Taste remains central to all Oatly innovation, and alongside the rising demand for convenience, we are excited to see the response to these new RTDs as they roll out in Tesco.”

Oatly’s plant-based range is not only dairy and soy-free but also enriched with calcium, riboflavin, and vitamins B12 and D.  Low in salt and saturated fat, and free from added sugars, sweeteners, emulsifiers, stabilisers, colours, or artificial flavours, Oatly products also consistently deliver a lower climate impact than cow’s milk.

Earlier this year, Oatly became the first-ever food brand recognised as a Climate Solutions Company by the Exponential Roadmap Initiative (ERI), acknowledging the company’s role in helping consumers reduce their climate footprint by shifting from dairy to plant-based alternatives.

The new Oatly Barista Iced Caramel Macchiato and Iced Flat White are available now in Tesco, RRP £2 per 235ml can. Tesco Clubcard holders can purchase both ready-to-drink cans at £1.25 between 6th November – 18th December.
