nonni, a new kind of electrolyte drink, created for busy brains and everyday lives, not just sweaty workouts, is extending its reach. The brand launched this month through www.drinknonni.com, and will be on Amazon, all Farmer J locations and the Corner Shop at 180 The Strand, from January 5th 2026. nonni is the UK’s first premium, lower-salt sparkling electrolyte in a ready-to-drink can. We are working with Stores and Mr Lemonade too.
nonni is a feel-good, drink-anytime alternative to alcohol, energy drinks, or sugar-laden sodas which is perfect for the sober-curious, the overstimulated, and the quietly ambitious. It’s hydration, reimagined: a can that belongs in your fridge, not your medicine cabinet. We are here to present smarter hydration, and to power your possible. We’ve already gained traction in publications such as HTSI, Sunday Times Style, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Red, Stylist and Grazia.
Designed with clarity, flavour, and function in mind, it’s here to hydrate a new generation of doers, thinkers, and desk-side sippers. nonni reimagines hydration as something you actually want to drink. It provides functional fizz for focus, energy, and hydration, Low-salt, daily drinkable electrolytes, food-adjacent flavours including Sicilian Lemon with Garden Mint, and Grapefruit with Green Lime & a hint of Black Pepper, Plant-powered, under 20 calories, and free from artificial sweeteners or caffeine.
It’s no secret that most electrolyte brands taste disgusting, due to the high potency of minerals and salt. In fact, that’s why so many aren’t in cans – the chloride and sodium wouldn’t provide a stable enough environment for the can safety. What makes nonni so exciting, is that it’s food adjacent – hence Farmer J snapping us up in all 18 locations. The lower salt means that you still get all the good stuff, without compromising on taste. Depending on how active you are on Tik Tok, you might have also seen a recent backlash to the electrolyte sachets, as consumers question how much salt they actually need per day (spoiler alert, less than a sachet).
nonni is working with Diana Bell-Irving as the resident, in house Nutritionist. Diana is a certified member of The British Association of Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT), The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) and a member of the General Naturopathic Council (GNC).
The timing couldn’t be sharper. The global electrolyte drink market is worth £30+ billion and is projected to grow 5–6% annually, driven by rising consumer interest in daily wellness, mental clarity, and low/no-alcohol lifestyles. And when it comes to performance, even 1–2% dehydration has been shown to reduce focus and reaction time, beating brain fog starts with better hydration.
