In celebration of International Women’s Day 2024, British womenswear brand VIVERE will be raising funds for UK charity Refuge. This event aims to support Refuge in their work to provide services for survivors and their children as they rebuild their lives free from fear.
To support the charity’s mission, VIVERE will donate 25% of the total retail price on all purchases made from ‘The Tailoring Edit’ between the 8th – 10th of March 2024 directly to Refuge.
Refuge plays a crucial role in providing vital support to women and children survivors of domestic abuse in the UK. The charity’s commitment is more significant than ever as they strive to empower women affected by domestic abuse. Through their comprehensive programs, Refuge offers essential knowledge, skills, and resources to help survivors and their children rebuild their lives free from abuse. Since its establishment in 1971, Refuge has led the campaign against domestic abuse, and become the largest single provider of specialist domestic abuse and gender-based violence services in England. The organisation is dedicated to amplifying the voices of survivors and harnessing their collective strength to end domestic abuse.
VIVERE managing director, Laura Corrigan-Conway, said: “Vivere is incredibly proud to partner with Refuge this International Women’s Day. As a majority female team, empowering women is at the core of our values and we hope our support can help Refuge create meaningful change for survivors”
Refuge’s director of fundraising, Louise Firth, said: “Refuge is excited to be partnering with VIVERE this International Women’s Day and is incredibly grateful for the donation that we will be receiving from the sales of ‘The Tailoring Edit’.
I would like to Thank Vivere for their generosity, as without gifts like these, Refuge would not be able to continue to support women and children fleeing domestic abuse.”
The Tailoring Edit will be available to purchase from 8th – 10th March 2024 at https://viverelondon.com/collections/tailoring.
