Shopify has expanded Shop Campaigns to merchants across new markets, including the UK. Shop Campaigns is an advertising tool that helps eligible merchants on Shopify acquire new customers and businesses only pay when a sale is made.
Already available in the US and Canada, Shop Campaigns enables merchants to promote products across the Shop app and other leading third-party channels like Meta, Google, X, Snap and Pinterest through a single campaign, with no creative to produce, no pixels to install, and no separate platforms to manage. Merchants set the price they’re willing to pay to acquire a customer, with no charges for impressions or clicks that don’t convert.
With the expansion of Shop Campaigns, merchants can now connect with customers across every supported market they ship to, while managing budgets and billing in their local currency. Here’s how it works: When a shopper clicks on a promoted product, they’re directed to the product page on the Shop app, a dedicated shopping destination with hundreds of millions of verified shoppers worldwide, no separate advertising accounts or market-specific campaigns needed. For merchants selling to buyers in the US and Canada, Shop Campaigns are already live across the Shop app and third-party channels. For international markets, merchants can promote products on the Shop app now, with Meta and Google coming soon. The rollout comes ahead of the peak retail season, giving merchants a new customer acquisition tool in time for this year’s Black Friday weekend.
Natasha Whiting, CEO & co-founder at Kollo Health, says: “It looks like a game-changer for us as a brand; setup was easy and flawless, and it all makes total sense. Cannot wait for it to start working.”
“Finding new customers is one of the biggest challenges a business faces, and too often it comes with unnecessary cost and complexity,” said Deann Evans, Managing Director, EMEA, at Shopify. “The expansion of Shop Campaigns to multiple new markets including the UK lowers that risk and workload dramatically. They can reach millions of shoppers actively looking to buy, only pay when a customer converts, and spend less time managing campaigns across different platforms. It’s a smarter way to grow, especially as businesses gear up for Black Friday weekend and the holiday retail season over the next few months.”
