Fireaway Pizza – the UK’s fastest-growing pizza franchise renowned for its authentic Italian ingredients and fresh, made-to-order pizzas – is continuing its rapid nationwide expansion with the launch of its brand-new restaurant in Newport, officially opening today, Tuesday 28th October.

To celebrate, Fireaway Newport will be giving away 100 free Margherita pizzas on opening day (Tuesday 28th October) to the first 100 customers who have registered using Fireaway’s sign-up link. Once the 100 pizzas have been claimed, that’s it – so fans are encouraged to sign up early and arrive in good time on the day to secure their slice of the action.

The celebrations don’t stop there – from Tuesday 28th October through to Sunday 2nd November, customers will also be able to enjoy £5 Signature and Classic pizzas for the rest of the week, ensuring everyone can join in the festivities and experience Fireaway’s mouth-watering menu for less during opening week.

And as if that wasn’t enough, Fireaway Newport will also be giving away a further 100 free pizzas on Monday 3rd November – this time exclusively to those who have registered via the restaurant’s social media page, giving even more pizza lovers a chance to celebrate the new opening.

The new restaurant is owned and operated by brothers Ashish and Yash Parekh, who are both local to the Newport and wider South Wales area. With a background in marketing and over a decade’s experience in hospitality, the pair are no strangers to running successful pizza operations. Ashish previously spent 10 years with Domino’s before the brothers opened their first Fireaway franchise in Ystrad Mynach, which quickly became a hit with local customers. The new Newport restaurant marks their second Fireaway store, expanding their footprint in South Wales.

The brothers have built a team of 12 local staff, including six in-store chef and front-of-house team members supported by six delivery drivers – all recruited from the Newport area. This has provided valuable employment opportunities for the local community, something the pair are particularly proud of.

“We’re really proud to be bringing Fireaway’s fresh and fast pizza concept to Newport,” said Ashish Parekh, Fireaway Newport co-owner. “Having seen the amazing response to our first store in Ystrad Mynach, we knew Newport was the perfect next step for us. The city has such a vibrant food scene, and we’re delighted to have been able to create local jobs while introducing more people to Fireaway’s unique blend of quality, authenticity and fun.”

“This launch in Newport represents yet another exciting step in our growth across the UK,” added George Whiting, head of marketing at Fireaway. “Ashish and Yash have already proven themselves as outstanding operators with their Ystrad Mynach store, and we’re thrilled to be working with them again as they bring Fireaway’s bold Italian flavours and energy to Newport. We’re confident the local community will love what’s coming.”

Fireaway Newport is located at 168 Chepstow Rd, Maindee, Newport NP19 8EG. The store will serve customers for dine-in, collection and delivery, and will be available to order from across Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat, and the Firea
