English wine producer Artelium Wine Estate has appointed Toby Mason as Sales Director as it looks to accelerate its commercial growth in the premium wine sector. Mason brings more than three decades of experience in the UK wine trade and will oversee the producer’s trade sales strategy, account development, specialist retail and on-trade expansion.

Mason joins Artelium from Enotria, where he served as Director of Sales for South and Central UK, leading a 15-strong team across around 700 accounts. His previous experience also includes senior roles at Heritage Wine Company, EWGA, Matthew Clark and Majestic Wine.

In a career spanning more than 30 years, Mason has built extensive experience in premium wine sales, team leadership, business development and strategic growth across the UK on-trade. He has a strong track record of developing customer relationships, leading high-performing teams and delivering sustained commercial success in competitive markets.

Toby Mason said: ” I’m thrilled to be joining Artelium Wine Estate at such an exciting stage in its development. Artelium is a producer with real momentum, clear vision and an impressive commitment to quality. I’m excited to join the business and help drive its next phase of commercial growth.”

Founder Mark Collins who leads the winemaking at Artelium said, ” Toby brings exceptional experience, commercial acumen and deep knowledge of the UK wine market. He has a proven ability to lead teams, grow sales and build lasting partnerships, and we’re delighted to welcome him to Artelium as we continue to strengthen our position and take the business forward.”

Mason will also oversee sales for South African producer Rickety Bridge owned by Crosbie Family Wines who also have a stake in Artelium Wine Estate.
