Bio-Synergy launches into Waitrose

Bio-SynergyBio-Synergy is set to launch its Active Woman supplement range into Waitrose in August.

The launch will see the product range – including Activate protein, Energise creatine and Revitalise electrolyte mix, listed in 100 stores and at Waitrose.com, as part of the supermarket’s BrandsNew acceleration programme showcasing the most innovative and exciting challenger brands.

The Waitrose launch follows a redesign and relaunch for the Active Woman range, reflecting updated demand for supplements formulated for women that cater to the needs of an active lifestyle.

It also arrives as increasing numbers of women look for practical nutritional support while using or transitioning away from GLP-1 weight- management medication, when reduced appetite can make maintaining adequate protein, nutrient and fluid intake more challenging.

Activate provides a convenient source of protein, which contributes to the maintenance of muscle mass. Energise combines 4g of creatine monohydrate with 2g of hydrolysed marine collagen peptides, while Revitalise provides a refreshing electrolyte and vitamin drink for active days. Define combines glucomannan, green tea, chromium and caffeine in a convenient capsule designed to complement an active, balanced lifestyle. Together, the products provide a simple way for women to support their nutrition, strength, hydration and lifestyle goals without complicated routines or unnecessary noise.

The launch represents the latest major retail partnership for Bio-Synergy, whose products are also available through retailers including Selfridges, Superdrug, Holland & Barrett and Sports Direct.

Daniel Herman, founder and CEO of Bio-Synergy, said: “As a regular Waitrose customer, I have always felt it was the perfect home for the Active Woman range. I’m delighted that the Waitrose team shared my vision and recognised the opportunity to bring effective, straightforward nutrition to more women.

As a certified B Corp, we believe wellbeing should extend beyond the products we sell. That’s why every Active Woman customer can also claim a complimentary Active Woman Lifting Club session at gyms nationwide helping more women feel confident, get stronger and make it happen.”

Bio-Synergy’s Active Woman range will be available to shop at 100 Waitrose stores nationwide and online at Waitrose.com, from mid August, with prices from £17- £20.
