Columbia Sportswear

Columbia Sportswear is expanding its product offering into the streetwear category with the launch of Street Tech, a new collection bringing the brand’s technical outdoor expertise to everyday urban dressing.

The collection marks Columbia’s first range specifically designed for the street, combining the brand’s established weather-protection technologies with contemporary silhouettes designed for everyday wear.

Street Tech incorporates Columbia’s core technologies, including Omni-Shield™ rain repellency, Omni-Tech™ waterproofing, Thermarator™ insulation and Omni-Wick™ moisture control, across a range of outerwear, fleece, jersey and accessories.

Outerwear forms the core of the collection, with key styles including the St/rmwall™ Balaclava Puffer Jacket, featuring an integrated balaclava collar, lightweight ripstop construction, Omni-Shield™ rain repellency and Thermarator™ insulation. The Sh/eld™ Puffer offers a lightweight micro-baffle construction with a semi-gloss finish, while the Sh/ft™ Windbreaker combines a lightweight Omni-Shield™ shell with concealed hand pockets and reflective detailing.

The Striker 3L Waterproof Jacket brings Columbia’s technical performance credentials directly into the urban category, using the brand’s three-layer Omni-Tech™ waterproof-breathable construction, also found across its technical mountain product.

The wider collection extends into everyday layering, including deep-pile Mou/tain™ Fleece styles in hoodie and full-zip jacket silhouettes, alongside a stretch-woven cargo jogger made from the same Omni-Shield™ fabric used across the outerwear. A 450gsm heavyweight graphic hoodie, coordinating tee and fleece jogger, plus a jacquard skull beanie featuring Omni-Wick™ microfleece lining, complete the collection.

With Street Tech, Columbia is responding to the continued convergence of outdoor performance and urban fashion, bringing technical product innovation into a category driven by everyday functionality, versatility and contemporary design.

Stuart Miles, UK country manager, Columbia Sportswear, said: “The city hits you with as much chaos as the trail does. Street Tech is engineered to handle both. We started with technical innovations and built the silhouettes around them to create a collection that doesn’t ask you to choose between looking sharp and staying protected.”

Street Tech has officially launched and is available in Columbia stores and online, with prices ranging from £35 to £185.
