American sportswear brand Gant today announced that it will assume control of the business in Italy from January 1, 2027, to be fully operational as per FW27.
With the establishment of a dedicated Italian subsidiary, Gant will operate the business directly. The move creates a strong foundation for increased investment in the market and continued brand growth.

This allows us to accelerate our growth, get closer to the consumer, and strengthen both our business and brand experience.
Gant extends its appreciation to Newport and its team for a long-standing partnership and acknowledges the important contribution the collaboration has made to the development of Gant in Italy.
The Italian business will be led by General Manager Corrado Scala, who joins Gant with extensive experience across luxury and American sportswear brands. His deep knowledge of the Italian market, combined with a strong commercial track record across global brands, positions him well to develop Gant’s presence and drive continued growth in Italy.
