GOOD PHATS wins two new national listings for its innovative fats range, with Sainsbury’s and Waitrose

GOOD PHATSGOOD PHATS, the exciting new brand that’s shaking up the oil aisle, today confirms two new national listings for its range of nourishing and ‘damn delicious’ fats. Following a strong start, the fledgling brand has secured the support of Sainsbury’s and Waitrose, bringing high quality fats to the category in various formats.

Sainsbury’s is confirmed to take a trio of oils; Italian & Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oils in a glass pouring bottle and the Spanish Light Avocado Oil Spray, rolling out across 320 main estate stores from 9th November. Waitrose will stock the Italian and Spanish Extra Virgin Olive oils in the squeezy bottle format, as well as the spoonable Organic British Grass-Fed Ghee and Organic British Grass-Fed Beef Tallow launching in 250 stores from 11th November. The GOOD PHATS range is also available to independents via Wholesalers including Cotswold Fayre, Mahalo, Dundeis and Diverse Fine Foods.

GOOD PHATS is the invention of Tom Redwood, a chef turned entrepreneur on a mission to make health a tasty pursuit. Believing in a world where fats are revered and not feared, he wanted to create a range of healthy, delicious fats that encourage consumers to unlock their inner chef. The successful range of premium oils and fats is available in four easy to use formats which can be squeezed, sprayed, spooned or poured.

Founder Tom Redwood says: “These last few months have been a real step change for us as a business, and we are so pleased to have secured two such significant national listings for the range. November marks an exciting new chapter for the business, as we broaden our reach and widen our distribution with the support of our new supermarket partners.

We’ve worked hard to partner with the best farmers and fat lovers you can find, and together are on a mission to redefine the oil aisle and put the right fats back at the heart of every kitchen. Inspired by the specialty coffee industry’s obsession with origin, flavour notes, and process, we apply the same level of care to the fats we source. We never wanted to be just another Olive Oil Brand so it’s fantastic to see our retail partners share this vision!”.
