The nation’s most popular soy sauce brand, Kikkoman, is again getting creative with its Limited Edition 150ml dispenser bottle.
From March shoppers will be able to buy Kikkoman’s latest bottle design dominated by a girl’s face in manga style Japanese art characterised by very appealing expressive eyes. Soft Sakura cherry blossom reflective of springtime in Japan also features alongside a mix of modern Japanese motifs including a cute cat and an origami bird.
Bing-yu Lee, General Manager, Kikkoman UK said, “Following the success of our last six limited editions the latest one is our most detailed and ambitious and will delight our growing loyal consumer base. In these challenging times our design is all about joy, peacefulness and a sense of renewal.
“All our creatives aim to give consumers a little flavour of Japanese culture and with the popularity of all things Japanese right now I’m confident our latest one will sell out in record time.”
Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce is still made to the same authentic Japanese recipe created over 300 years ago. Mr Lee says Kikkoman’s growing popularity stems from its clean label with absolutely no additives, and its unique, complex umami-rich taste and aroma which develops over its six-month brewing process.
Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Soy Sauce is the brand leader in the soy sauce market with a 37.5% value share. Its iconic 150ml dispenser bottle remains the top selling sku and its Gluten-Free and Less Salt variants are the leading brands in their respective categories.
Around 200,000 Kikkoman new limited-edition bottles will be available from supermarkets and online.
