KinKind to launch new Make me SHINE! shampoo and conditioner bars

Following a full relaunch in 2024 with KinKind repositioning as beauty first and eco second, the brand has seen explosive growth with sales up 122% YOY and on trend innovations such as KinKind Give me STRENGTH! with Rice Water Protein shampoo and conditioner driving demand.

Continuing the on-trend approach, and continuing to be the only plastic free UK haircare brand investing substantially in digital advertising, KinKind is relaunching its Make me SHINE! line as a gloss shampoo and conditioner bar next month, with the addition of new ingredients seaweed complex and glycolic acid to boost hair shine. The plastic-free hair and beauty bar brand continues its drive to bring natural, sustainable haircare to mass market appeal by including carefully selected hair benefit ingredients, making it an easy switch for consumers to consciously choose KinKind over other mass market plastic bottled brands.

The new and improved bars will utilise a revolutionary gloss formula, including an innovative seaweed complex ingredient that helps restore damaged hair cuticles, locking more moisture, improving curl definition, decreasing frizz and increasing shine, alongside glycolic acid that strengthens hydrogen bonds, removes calcium deposits and impurities and closes the hair fibre, smoothing the cuticle and optimally reflecting light.

The update also sees a packaging refresh, with a lighter, brighter peach colour palette reflective of the bars’ new Fresh Peach fragrance.

The new Make me SHINE! bars are suitable for all hair types and are ideal for dull or colour treated hair. In addition to the new shine-boosting ingredients, KinKind’s bars use a gentler cleanser than bottled shampoo and are free from harsh ingredients like SLS, parabens and silicones, meaning they won’t strip hair of its natural oils.

KinKind’s bars are UK-made and completely plastic-free, with each bar saving two plastic bottles from our oceans.

The new Make me SHINE! shampoo and conditioner bars launch in May with the RRP of shampoo bar £7.95 and conditioner bar £8.95.
