Limited edition Christmas Starbucks drink launches in stores nationwide

It may only be November, but Christmas has officially started for the Starbucks ready-to-drink (RTD) chilled coffee range with the return of their signature chilled Red Cups, now back on supermarket shelves in all their festive glory. So, not only can shoppers enjoy the classic red cup at their local Starbucks café, they can also grab one (or a few) to savour on the go or at home.

The classic consumer favourites, Starbucks® Caffè Latte and Starbucks® Frappuccino Mocha have turned red for the festive season and are joined by the limited-edition White Chocolate Mocha, providing busy professionals and shoppers with the little festive pick me up their day deserves. With a hint of white chocolate, the new limited-edition drink blends the bold espresso flavour synonymous with Starbucks’ coffee with creamy milk, and an indulgent chocolate flavour.

Essentially, it’s the coffee house classic – but now with added jingle, wrapped up in a red and green bow and ready to take with you on the go. They join the new Starbucks café Christmas menu, which for 2023 includes:

  • Hazelnut Crunch Hot Chocolate
  • Toffee Nut Latte
  • Caramel Waffle Latte
  • Eggnog Latte

Laura Scott, Starbuck senior commercial manager at Arla Foods, comments: “One of our favourite times of the year is the launch of the red cups in stores, alongside the holiday menu at Starbucks cafes globally, as it really does signal the start of the festive season for us and our customers. Not only do they look great on the shelves, but they capture people’s attention, and the indulgent chocolate of our limited-time White Chocolate Mocha is the perfect sweet treat to accompany any avid Christmas shopper’s trip.”

The festive ready-to-drink chilled offering is available now in Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose, Asda, Morrisons, and the Co-Op, with prices starting from £2.10. The White Chocolate Mocha is available at Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Asda, costing £2.20.
