NERDS launches bold 3D OOH campaign and makes Super Bowl debut

Get ready, London! The NERDS® candy universe is EXPLODING onto the streets of London in the most jaw-dropping way possible. From February 3rd – February 16th, NERDS® candy is lighting up the iconic Piccadilly Lights with a bold, colourful, and larger-than-life 3D OOH experience – and trust us, you won’t want to miss it.

NERDS® candy is bringing the fun, flavour, and magic of their world to the UK like never before with a spectacular 3D ad that’s set to dazzle fans and make waves across London. This deepscreen takeover happens every hour at 20 minutes past, watch as the iconic Picadilly lights transform into a cluster-filled colourful delight with a giant 3D NERDS® candy Gummy Cluster™ packet hanging off the side you almost feel you can grab it!

The ad kicks off in a vibrant, candy-filled world where the NERDS® candy Gummy Monster – a sweet fun-loving chewy character covered in crunchy NERDS® candy – comes to life. It’s bursting with energy and excitement. As it walks through the city, the NERDS® candy pieces attach to its body, emphasizing the mix of textures – crunchy NERDS® candy coating and a chewy gummy centre.

This Piccadilly Lights 3D OOH takeover is part of an investment, delivering unforgettable, mind-blowing, and flavour-packed experiences for NERDS® candy lovers across the UK. Yes, you heard that right – NERDS® candy will be lighting up the big screens nationwide including the iconic Cromination in London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Liverpool (motion and static). Plus, the campaign extends across multiple paid brand socials, digital displays, CTV, BVOD, TV.

Keep your eyes on the skies, the streets, and your screens because NERDS® candy is here, bigger and bolder than ever!

Beyond the Piccadilly Lights, NERDS® candy is making a game-winning play globally with a bold   Bowl appearance. NERDS® candy is kicking off two 30” network spots during ‘Super Bowl LIX’ on ITV1 – one early spot and one during the legendary halftime show. But that’s not all – NERDS® candy is going for the extra point by taking over the YouTube Masthead for 24 hours during the Super Bowl, ensuring fans everywhere get their fill of sweet, crunchy, chewy goodness right in the end zone!

Additionally, NERDS® candy has teamed up with iconic American singer-songwriter and music producer Shaboozey, to centre in the Super Bowl ad. The ad focuses on fusing genres and flavours to startle the senses.

NERDS® candy fans will have a chance to get involved in the fun too. On a mystery day within the week of February 10th the legendary Gummy Monster touches down in London roaming the streets, and ready for selfies. Spot him, snap a pic, and post it with #NERDSCandy GummyMonster for the chance to win a pair of NFL London tickets, NERDS® Candy and NFL merchandise or a year’s supply of NERDS® candy Gummy Clusters™.
