Speedo offers London Marathon runners a gentle alternative. Why not take the swim lane?

Speedo As runners took over London last weekend, Speedo is offering a different perspective on going the distance. The world’s number one swim brand has launched a cheeky billboard at London Bridge, catching eyes with lines like ‘Swimmer’s knee? Never heard of it’, a light-hearted reminder that there’s more than one way to move.

The message continues across the city, with a Speedo street team decked out in swimwear, bringing the lines to life among the crowds with a whole host of placards including ‘Running, without the shin splints’ .

With the sun beating down on the capital, the group, proudly wearing their Speedo briefs, have been seen carrying placards with ‘You can keep your toenails’.

It’s all part of a simple message, if you want to go further, it might just be easier when you’re horizontal, so next time, swap the pavement for the pool.
