Antler introduces the Heritage Collection: a modern evolution of 110 years of British luggage excellence

AntlerAntler, The British Travel Brand, proudly unveils the Heritage Collection—where Antler’s legacy of expertise meets the future of luggage design. This premium hard- shell collection sets a new standard for suitcase construction, blending archival details with modern materials. Designed for those who demand excellence in travel, the collection introduces two meticulously crafted pieces: the Heritage Stripe Cabin and Heritage Stripe Trunk, reflecting Antler’s pursuit of quality and innovation Since 1914.

Hand-built with bespoke features, the Heritage Collection embodies timeless travel elegance and offers superior performance at a considered price-point. Two years in the making, the collection reflects Antler’s commitment to thoughtful innovation. The Heritage Stripe Cabin, launching April 29th 2025, is engineered for seamless travel, with a premium-grade polycarbonate structure that offers strength without excess weight. The robust aluminium frame and reinforced corners provide structural integrity and protection from impact, whilst also referencing a historic design code from Antler’s legacy in trunk design.

Made to order and arriving in Autumn 2025, the Heritage Stripe Trunk marks a bold new chapter for Antler. Inspired by the rise of transatlantic travel, it reimagines a classic 1950’s silhouette for the modern voyager. With a generous 90L packing capacity, the Trunk is designed for voyage- style packing, featuring a streamlined, zipperless design with integrated TSA-approved lock. Its distinctive shape offers a stylish alternative for those who require more space for longer journeys, seamlessly accommodating packing cubes and internal organisers to suit contemporary packing habits.

Every element of the Heritage Collection is purposefully designed, from the custom aluminium frame to bespoke soft-close comfort-grip handles and locks. With Antler’s first-ever replaceable wheels, customised for disassembly and repair, the cases are designed for longevity and lifetime ownership, underscoring the brand’s lifetime warranty on all suitcases. The innovative double-latch closure is inspired by archival Antler designs—reimagined for today with an integrated TSA-approved lock for added reassurance. Hand-built over three months, each case undergoes rigorous quality and strength testing to meet the highest standards.

Two new colourways, Sandstone and Basalt, are inspired by nature’s enduring elements. Sandstone reflects the warm, timeworn textures of British coastal landscapes, while Basalt embodies the strength and resilience of coastal rock—both echoing the durability and timeless appeal of the collection itself.

Complementing the launch, Antler introduces the limited- edition Heritage Tote. Made in the UK, this extends the collection’s commitment to quality and design excellence to travel bags. The water-repellent organic cotton canvas and Scottish leather detailing present a smart exterior, complete with a secure internal zip pocket for laptop, tech and personal items. Completing the collection, the Heritage Tag is hand-crafted in the UK—an elegant finishing touch for luggage and travel bags alike. The Heritage Collection is not about reinvention for its own sake, but a thoughtful evolution of Antler’s legacy— luggage built with precision, designed for the discerning, and made to last.

Heritage design & innovation features

AntlerBespoke aluminium frame
A nod to Antler’s design archive, at the core of the Heritage Cabin and Trunk is a bespoke aluminium frame, offering structural integrity and impact protection. Hard-anodised aluminium corner protectors are engineered to absorb shocks, offering enhanced impact protection against falls and drops. Designed for durability, they ensure lasting resilience through frequent travel.
Custom double-latch with TSA-approved lock
Inspired by a recurring feature in vintage Antler cases, the double- latch closure adds a sense of reassurance while providing modern utility. Integrated with TSA-approved locks, this feature ensures security in transit while allowing airport staff to access the case without causing damage.
Soft close & comfort-grip handle
Ergonomically designed for smooth, comfortable handling, both the top and side handles feature a soft-close mechanism and comfort-grip design. Colour-matched components create a cohesive and sophisticated look, while precision-engineered wheels guarantee a smooth, seamless glide for an enhanced travel experience.
Distinguished ‘Antler stripe’ shell design
The signature ‘Antler stripe’ design evokes nostalgia, referencing the way trunks and cases were once strapped to the roof of cars. The 40mm stripe not only reinforces the suitcase’s high-spec Polycarbonate shell but also fits seamlessly with Antler luggage straps for added functionality and personalised style.
Designed for disassembly and repair
The Heritage Collection introduces Antler’s first-ever replaceable wheels, developed in collaboration with Japanese innovators Hinomoto. Designed for easy removal and quick replacement by the customer, this reinforces the suitcase’s lifetime warranty and underscores Antler’s commitment to responsible ownership.
The new Heritage Collection launches on the 29th April and will be available to shop at Antler.co.uk.
