KinKind is set to launch starter packs of its customer-loved shampoo and conditioner bars to retail outlets, delivering its innovative plastic-free product alongside storage racks to provide a complete solution for customers looking to reduce plastic bottles in the bathroom.

Starter packs will be available for KinKind’s best-selling hair bars including NOURISH me! – containing argan oil and coconut oil – Give me STRENGTH! – containing rosemary and wheatgerm oil to strengthen hair and boost growth – Make me SHINE! – ideal for coloured and highlighted hair – and My PLATINUM touch! – purple shampoo and conditioner bars for offsetting brassiness in blondes and greys. Packs will be available comprising a shampoo bar, conditioner bar and metal rack to store both bars, as well as packs containing a single shampoo bar and storage rack.

Following customer research that found 92% of users are storing their bars on a rack, draining dish or in an open storage tin at home, KinKind identified storage as a key component in encouraging consumers to make the switch from bottled to bar products. In line with these findings, the brand’s latest launch delivers a ready-made solution that allows in-store shoppers to purchase all they need to swap to bars in one simple purchase.

Finding that 87% of their online customers have permanently switched to KinKind bars, the brand identified first impressions are key to converting in-store customers, and via its new starter packs looks to equip shoppers with all that they need in one purchase, educating on how simple a permanent switch to plastic-free bars can be. The single or double starter packs allow customers to trial plastic-free hair care easily, also providing simple solutions for travel as well as gifting ideas.

KinKind’s hair bars are completely plastic-free, saving up to two plastic bottles each, and utilise a kinder selection of natural ingredients with no parabens or silicones, and no unnecessary water, whilst delivering an enjoyable usage experience and outstanding results. With the plastic-free haircare market predicted to grow by £300 million in the next four years, KinKind is committed to making the switch and experience as easy as possible for conscious and mainstream consumers.

Sales and operations director, Paul Brown, says: “To step change the switch from bottles to plastic free shampoo and conditioner bars, shoppers need storage solutions that address their needs both in the family bathroom or when travelling. KinKind has years of experience and thousands of loyal shoppers who have shaped the development of storage solutions, and as the experts in plastic free beauty, we seek to use our insights on storage and product experience combined with national TV to establish KinKind as the go-to brand in retail and drive the conversion from polluting plastic bottles to 100% plastic free.”

KinKind’s starter packs will be available to retail for Plastic Free July, with shampoo and conditioner bar starter packs priced at £22 and shampoo bar starter packs priced at £12.95.
