Too Good To Go appoints Chelsea Kerr as managing director for the UK and Ireland as the business marks 10 years in the UK

Too Good To GoToo Good To Go has appointed Chelsea Kerr as managing director for the UK and Ireland, leading the business across both markets as it continues to scale its mission to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together. The appointment comes as Too Good To Go marks ten years since launching in the UK.

Too Good To Go is a certified B Corp social impact company operating the world’s largest marketplace for surplus food, connecting users with food businesses to rescue unsold food through its Surprise Bags offering.  Beyond this, Too Good To Go partners with leading brands via Parcels, redistributing surplus stock that can’t be sold through traditional retail channels, turning potential waste into meaningful impact.

Chelsea steps into the role following her appointment as Too Good To Go’s Director of Key Accounts for the UK, Ireland and Central Europe in February 2025, where she led the growth and strategic development of some of the company’s largest retail partnerships over the past year.

With a background spanning high-growth, consumer-facing technology and retail businesses including Uber, Amazon and Colgate-Palmolive. Chelsea brings deep experience in scaling operations, building strong commercial partnerships and embedding technology into everyday consumer behaviour.

Chelsea Kerr, Managing Director at Too Good To Go UK/IE said: “I’m thrilled to be stepping into the role of Managing Director for the UK and Ireland at Too Good To Go at such an exciting moment in our journey. Ten years on from launch in the UK, saving surplus food has moved from a niche idea to a mainstream habit. We now see tens of thousands of Surprise Bags rescued every day – more than 100 times the daily volume seen in the early months of the app. It just goes to show that when fighting food waste is made simple and accessible, people and businesses are ready to take part.

“It’s rare to find a forward-thinking tech business so clearly led by its mission, and this role perfectly aligns my passion for technology with my belief in mission-driven growth.

“The UK and Ireland are incredibly important markets for Too Good To Go, with a vibrant community of partners and millions of people actively reducing food waste. My focus is on building on that momentum, working even more closely with partners to embed food waste reduction into everyday operations, and making it effortless for people to turn saving food into a simple, habitual choice.”

In her new role, Chelsea will focus on strengthening Too Good To Go’s presence across the UK and Ireland, making the reduction of food waste a simple, everyday habit for consumers, while working closely with food businesses to embed surplus food solutions into their operations at scale.

Based in London, Chelsea will continue to work closely with teams across the UK and Ireland as Too Good To Go builds on its strong foundations in both markets.
