Leading performance marketing agency Summit to secure a significant new deal with      Wickes. The Watford based company is a market-leading, uniquely balanced home improvement business with sales split broadly across three customer propositions – Trade, design and installed kitchens and bathrooms and DIY – and has a simple purpose to help the nation feel house proud. Summit, The digital experts have taken over management of Wickes’ PPC, SEO and affiliate marketing programmes, with a two-year contract in place.

Wickes first began working with Summit in Spring 2023 via the Summit’s proprietary Comparison Shopping Service (CSS) – Productcaster.  After outstanding trial results on Google Shopping, Wickes and Summit began exploring working together across key performance channels including paid media, SEO and affiliates.  Summit’s specialism and footprint in retail resulted in Wickes signing a      performance marketing contract, where Summit will be responsible for all marketing investments and ROI within performance channels.

With more than 230 stores across the UK, Wickes is a UK household name and is another brilliant addition to Summit’s roster of global retail brands, which already includes major names such as Three, Ann Summers and Silentnight.

Ryan Thomas, chairman of Summit, said: “This new partnership is huge for the business and it’s a glowing testament not just to the incredible work from our team of retail and digital marketing experts, but the tenacity and commitment they’ve shown when getting this over the line. Wickes is a dream client for us, and we can’t wait to demonstrate just how much commercial impact we drive through our strategic knowledge and considered, tactical approach. This win is the icing on the cake of what’s been a phenomenal year for us.”

Paul Canavan, digital  director at Wickes, said: “We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with Summit. Seeing the results from our work with Productcaster was hugely encouraging and there’s a great chemistry with the Summit team, which is key for us as a business. They’re genuine experts in retail and digital, leading the way with what they do, and as we continue to grow, it’s crucial we have the best team in place to take us even further. We’re confident we’ve found this in Summit.”
